Mountain Host (Guest Services)
The Guest Services department is hiring for a Mountain Host for the Winter Season.
This position provides guests with a positive resort experience in order to create guests for life.
This position will cover an array of duties and will work closely with the Base Services Attendants to remove snow, assist guests, and maintain a clean deck.
The successful candidate will be an experienced skier/snowboarder who can work both on the ski hills and at the base, and who strives to create a fun and safe environment.
Base Pay: Starts at $15/hr

Attendance: Regular, predictable, punctual, and in-person attendance is essential, includes weekends and holidays as scheduled

Typical Shift: Starts around 8am and ends around 5pm, with split shifts incorporated
Qualifications: No experience necessary, all training will be provided.

Provides information such as grooming reports, snow reports, weather forecast, etc to guests. Answers questions and provides information to guests regarding all the resort services, activities, amenities, and assist guests with any issues or concerns they have. Works alongside Base Services Attendant to remove snow and keep deck area clean. Assists with special events, marketing surveys, and comment cards. Facilitates the "First Tracks" program as assigned and follows all requirements, including tight communication with ski patrol and effective tour guide procedures. Appropriately communicate with other departments when needed. Other Skills and Abilities: Ability to work in winter weather conditions for extended periods of time. Ability to provide excellent customer service. Ability to ski/snowboard at an Intermediate or above level.
Must be able to ski all of the terrain within the assigned are and must be able to ski in control in all snow conditions. Environment: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly outside weather conditions.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
