We are looking for a patient friendly MRI technologist to work Part Time and/or Per Diem Schedules for our Downey, & El Monte locations due to growth.
Currently we need someone Mondays and Saturdays ongoing to start, with the possibility of more.
Position Summary: To perform MRI Scans on patients using MRI equipment and Imaging Protocols
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned.
Comply with HIPAA law and confirm the exam scheduled matches exam ordered by the referring doctor As needed, processes patient check-in paperwork ID patient before proceeding with the scheduled exam Verbally examine the patient with provided questionnaire and analyze if the patient is clinically and physically healthy to undergo MRI procedure To follow Expert MRI set protocols for available equipment and communicate any and all issues to Chief Technologist Ensure the quality of MRI images and send all procedure images to PACS when study is completed Merge the images on PACS if the study is done as a Split (two modalities) Ensure that exams are marked "Completed" on Scheduling System Verify that all images are transferred to PACS before the end of shift and communicate this information to Chief Technologist Travel as required by the company during suggested work hours Any and all tasks assigned by the Immediate Manager / Chief Technologist Customer Service - Displays courtesy and sensitivity, manages difficult or emotional customer situations, meets commitments, responds promptly to customer needs, and solicits customer feedback to improve service.

Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or GED.
Associates Degree (preferred) At least 3-5 years experience in Radiology/Imaging scanning.
Completion of 1000 hours on site job training under the supervision of certified ARMRIT technologist.
Must have current ARMRIT or ARRT, Venipuncture Certifications and BLS.
Language Ability:
English/Spanish; Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Write routine reports and correspondence.
Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
