MRO Inventory Specialist

As an MRO Inventory Specialist, you will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and processing incoming MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) supplies and parts, ensuring that all goods are accurately received and properly documented. You will maintain organized records and ensure that materials are stored in their correct locations to streamline access and use. In this role, you will work closely with procurement, inventory control, and maintenance teams to ensure the efficient and smooth flow of materials, supporting the operational needs of the business. Your efforts will help minimize downtime, ensuring that all required materials are readily available for maintenance and repair activities.

Responsibilities:
Efficiently receive, inspect, and verify MRO supplies, parts, and materials against purchase orders.
Accurately record received items in SAP, update stock levels, and maintain documentation for audits.
Inspect materials for quality compliance and report any issues to procurement and quality control.
Organize and store materials properly, assist with inventory counts, and maintain a clean, safe storage area.
Coordinate with procurement, inventory, and maintenance teams to ensure timely parts availability.
Resolve discrepancies and returns by communicating with vendors and procurement teams.

You bring:
High school diploma or GED required 
1-3 years of experience in inventory management within an industrial MRO environment 
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal 
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively 
Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail 
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; SAP knowledge required (or to be learned within the first year)
