Multi-Site Maintenance Technician

Gray Residential is excited to onboard a new Maintenance Technician!  This position is for Echo Park (154 units) and Forest Ridge (114 units). You'll work in a team on site in wooded oasis located in Bloomington, INKey Functions of the Role:Reading and following a digital make-ready board and performing quality punch work to produce apartments that meet the standards of our company and our residentsBeing a great team  member by exhibiting will and skillPracticing self-accountability to do great work and accepting praise and feedback from a SupervisorRecognizing the need for training exists and participating in on the job training as well as supporting online training initiativesPerforming service requests, preventable service calls, reducing emergency calls, and identifying and communicating potential for large expendituresAbility to be on-call for emergencies in rotation with other team members as well as able to come in outside of scheduled business hours for snow and ice removal activitiesKey characteristics of a great candidate:Humble and Hungry = understanding that you aren't expected to "know it all" and a teachable spiritCommunicative = understanding that consistent meetings with the Property Manager and your own team are important.  Also, responsiveness is critical.Reliability and Predictability = team members need to be able to count on one another, and those who report to you need to be able to predict how you'll react to issues or concerns - with grace and professionalism.Organization = we'll make sure you have the tools you need to stay organized and keep everyone on the same page.
