As a valued colleague on our team, you will assist in assessing and identifying potential risks that may threaten our reputation, safety, security, and/or financial success, as well as participate in communicating and collaborating with key stakeholders across the enterprise and understanding business objectives.
THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE The Advisor Multifamily Underwriting and Pricing Oversight role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:
Manage pre-acquisition, loan quote, pre-review and pricing oversight of the Multifamily business.Provide real-time feedback and effective challenge of the Multifamily business as it relates to credit and pricing decisions for new loan quotes and acquisitions.Serve as subject matter expert to internal stakeholders as it relates to Multifamily pre-acquisition and pricing activities and trends.Lead collaboration efforts across teams to identify and evaluate the risks to Multifamily of new transactions, business activities and programs.Advise on risk mitigation strategies and approach including control gaps and impact assessments.Document and present findings and/or conclusions of analysis to key stakeholders and senior management in a thoughtful and persuasive manner.Build strong relationships across Multifamily and the Enterprise.Partner with Multifamily and other stakeholders to carry out business strategies that will drive success and ensure safety and soundness in the face of shifting market conditions and regulations.THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM Minimum Required Experiences 6 years related experienceMultifamily or commercial real estate underwriting experiencePrior experience performing financial and trend analysis and reporting findingsPrior experience with credit risk, loan quality analysis, compliance monitoring, or risk assessment and risk managementStrong communication skills, both written and verbalAdvanced Excel skillsBachelor's degree or equivalentDesired Experiences 8 years Underwriting experienceExperience with GSE lendingSkilled in business intelligence tools such as TableauFannie Mae is primarily a hybrid company.
