Job Title: Manager_Automation Business Development Division: MVI (Motor Vehicle Industry) Report to: Business Line Manager_MVI [Purpose of this job] Automation Business Development Manager is responsible for developing automation business opportunities across all MVI/GI customers in Korea market.
This role will serve as the primary contact for customers on projects involving automation, manage automation offers by coordinating with MTB, ICA, AIC Germany, and build a clear understanding of scalable automated solutions focusing on FA/Tier 1, particularly in EV customers.
Speaking partner with customer when project have automation content customerExplore scale automation offer by managing MTB, Innovation center, ICA and global project team in divisionIncrease Automation sales effectiveness by pursuing high potential accounts and opportunitiesBuild clear understanding on selected solution focus on FA/Tier 1, especially in EV customerIncrease Automation market share and revenue within existing accountsProvide opportunities to contribute to the success of the customersImprove customer retention through stronger relationships and increased client satisfactionContribute for Automation product development and improvement of communication / marketing material[Accountabilities] Lead our Automation strategy for the corporate headquarters "HQ" or tech centers "TC" or local "ME" team in customer's sideDevelopment Automation business opportunities with various sales activities and approach, technical consulting, presentation, proposalResponsible for documentations, quotation and purchase Order & InvoiceCooperation for Project management and technical support in line with MVI project team , ICK(Innovation Center Korea) and MVI SalesClosed communication with Innovation center, ICA(Innovation Center Asia) and Global project team to align global and local requirementsIdentify future local/global programs and information per projectFormally introduce new automation assembly technologies to the key stakeholder, get products evaluated and approved by the HQ / TC / ME, with customer specific benefit/ value focus and ROI justificationManage our adherence to customer specific requirement / standardsCommunicate and co-operate with BLMs with collaborative mind set to achieve our full potentialAutomation competencies setting up with customer process expertise & divers working back-ground in ICK[Qualifications] 10 – 15 years proven track record in sales, marketing and managerial experience at from a sales company environment within the Motor vehicle Industry or relevantExtensive experience in the automation businessExpertise in technical aspects, including mechanical and electrical design with assembly solution in MVI production linesExperience in participating in new plant projects in the automobile industry is requiredAutomation competencies setting up with customer process expertise & divers working background in AIC KoreaStrong drives as key partner in the transition to Smart factory with flexible Automation solutions with SFA(Smart Factory Automation Division) collaboration and production optimization activitiesSuccessful initiatives in innovative & flexible automation to scale it as standardization of productBasic knowledge in industrial electrical/mechanical or automation, fieldbus (PLC) techniqueAble to write and communicate verbally in EnglishAbility to proactively motivate, lead and work with the team of peopleMinimum 4-year university graduation in mechanical or electrical engineering required[Core Competence - Talent Framework] Drive Customer SuccessImprove Business ResultsCommit to Sustainable GrowthCommunication with internal and external personalsInnovation and SolutionsProfessionalism for Tightening/ Automation /Data Analysis/System Networking, etcGlobal Mind-set with HQ in Nacka, Innovation Center, ICA and CCsDiverse by nature and inclusive by choice
