Primary Responsibilities: Examines, diagnoses and treats patients for acute injuries, infections, and illnessesCounsels and educates patients and families about acute and chronic conditions or concernsDocuments items such as: chief complaint, past medical, family, and social history, review of systems, examinations, medications, allergies, assessment and planFormulates diagnostic and treatment plansPrescribes and administers medications, therapies, and proceduresOrders lab and imaging tests to determine and manage an immediate treatment plan and provides advice on follow upResponsible for the coordination of care with specialists and appropriate ancillary servicesCompletes all documentation and paperwork in a timely mannerMaintains quality of care standards as defined by the practiceYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
Required Qualifications: Active and unrestricted Arizona medical licenseBoard certified in Family MedicineCurrent and unrestricted DEA certificateEffective communication skillsOutstanding organization skills and ability to multi-taskTakes initiative, is creative, has problem-solving ability, is adaptable, and flexibleAbility to work without direct supervision and practice autonomouslyAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentPreferred Qualifications: 1+ years of Outpatient Clinic experienceManaged Care / IPA / Health Plan experience
