Responsibilities
• Advising constituents of shipment and travel entitlements• Requesting and coordinating transport capability• Marking, documenting, and inventorying freight, cargo, and material shipments• Operating automated data terminal equipment• Arranging documentation and reports for follow-up or responses to tracer actions• Performing system administrator duties• Preparing equipment, cargo, and personnel for travel• Requesting and coordinating transportation for movement missions
Requirements
• Military enlistment in the Army National Guard• Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or a GED certificate• Must be between the ages of 17 and 35• Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards• Must meet citizenship requirements
Key Skills Needed
• Interest in motor vehicles, aircraft, and ocean liner vessels• Experience in coordinating transportation• Interest in planning events and working with people
