Milestone's trailer division is the second-largest trailer lessor in the country with a national branch network that includes 30 locations and 60,000 semi-trailers.
These trailers range from new and used dry vans, to flatbeds and refrigerated trailers.
We are seeking a dynamic, ambitious National Account Manager to support Milestone's growth in the Western United States.
The National Account Manager will have access to resources and support including:

Using a consultative sales approach, the National Account Manager will perform several key activities to develop relationships and establish a strategy to expand market share, including:
Utilizing cold calls, networking, and other prospecting methods to grow business.
Conducting strategic meetings to identify and meet customers' needs.
Determining inventory allocations for availability and timely delivery.
Coordinating with local branch team members to ensure fulfillment plans are followed.
Providing and reviewing reports to effectively manage a pipeline.

Qualifications
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation/logistics or selling to that customer base.
(8 years preferred)
Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales.
Proven and extensive experience with new business development.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to demonstrate a positive and professional image.
Must be comfortable speaking with customers face-to-face.
Flexibility to quickly adapt to the changing workflow and needs of the business.
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Education
High School Diploma or general educations degree (GED)
Bachelor's degree in a business-related field (Marketing, Finance, Management, etc.)
preferred or equivalent work experience in the transportation industry

Travel Requirements
75% travel required (domestic) and the candidate must reside near a major airport in the Western 11 states (Los Angeles, Phoenix, Seattle, Las Vegas, or San Francisco preferred)
