The National Accounts Director-Federal is responsible for driving business development and growing federal sales within assigned agencies in the Western U.S. (primarily CA, WA, OR, UT, CO, MT, NM, AZ, ID, and WY). The goal is to support sales initiatives, meet corporate goals, and increase OFS market share in the Federal Government segments.
Primary Responsibilities: Increase Federal Sales through active sales, coaching, and participation.Awareness and promotion of the OFS Federal Program both internal and external to OFS.Identify and close business with federal agencies, assigned accounts, and sales team accounts identified by the Federal Sales Director. This may be accomplished throughAccount Plan and Mapping Tool utilization for key account performance measures and technical indicators.Making end user sales calls as the lead or with sales representatives.Building and maintaining a trusting and professional relationship withEnd usersInternal OFS Team MembersDealersA+DOther Influencers, i.e. Diversity and Disadvantaged Business enterprises, General Contractors, Project Management Firms, Real Estate Firms.Lead and grow sales as the Subject Matter Expert for the OFS VA Program, as primary within the West and backup for CentralDevelop strong relationships with VA Designers.Training for OFS teams on how to leverage the OFS VA IDIQ and its IDIQ partners, how to drive the Basis of Design and Bid to win with LPTA structure.Develop IDIQ partner relationships with IDIQ holders.Guide and lead VA RFQs.Generate leads and develop new sales tools.Team Management/Program Management: Develop and assist with yearly business plans for Federal business in collaboration with the sales team and the Federal Sales Director.Analyze, develop strategy and lead major RFQ responses.Ongoing training in tandem with Federal Sales Director for OFS/Carolina sales team.Understanding, supporting, and articulation of proper use of all contracts.Requirements: Proven success in a similar role.5+ years of Federal sales experience working directly with Federal agency contracting, end users, regional and national government workplace and facility teams.Preferred experience working with the VA IDIQ program, architects, and designers.Ability to monitor and identify trends in the Federal West Markets, competitors, and new sales leads.Ability to travel as defined by yearly Business Plan and account strategy.Strong Communication skills, both written and verbalVerbal - Presentation and negotiations, as well as industry networking.Written - Respond to, lead strategy or assist with RFQs as needed.Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.Effective time management.Dynamic and creative problem-solving abilities.Strong client-focused mindset.Proficiency with Adobe, Foxit, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite.Get taken care of.Healthcare, dental and vision insurance plan options for you and your dependents.
