Job Summary
The National Supply Chain Manager will have responsibility for leading value-driven activities in all aspects of the Supply Chain.
The position will report to the GM.
This role will be instrumental for leading centralization and standardized across our national Supply Chain processes, partnering with the business by leading project initiatives from discovery through to successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities Implement and drive continuous improvements processes and systems across the business in alignment with company goals.
Keep weekly audit on inventory Develop standardized processes and document all processes relating to effective supply chain management, customer service and distribution practices.
Daily supervision of Supply Chain team, initiatives and activities Assist Procurement team with supplier management and contract negotiations where necessary.
Proactively identify & understand procurement needs from internal stakeholders and propose competitive solutions for the end-to-end Supply Chain Collaborate, develop, and implement inventory management strategies optimizing inventory levels Lead, monitor and improve 3PL vendor performance.
Review existing technologies, processes, and practices vs best practices and benchmarks and implement improvements in liaison with the Supply Chain team.
Working closely with other integral supply chain team members to maintain a cohesive, collaborative and effective supply chain and logistics team.
Build and maintain a strong network in the market, being fully aware of supplier developments, challenges and opportunities coming up in the market/industry Develop and monitor KPIs to track supplier and team efficiencies and effectiveness Responsible for yearly audit and reporting, achieving, and maintaining standards Promote sustainability initiatives, including sourcing and waste reduction Work collaboratively with the global procurement team and internal stakeholders to achieve success.
Required Skills and Experience Bachelor's degree in supply chain or equivalent experience 8+ years' successful experience in Supply Chain, Distribution, and/or Logistics Services management are an advantage Advanced proficiency in Project Management, Warehousing, Procurement, and Inventory Management.
Demonstrated experience in a customer-facing role and a strong customer-centric ethic that is self-motivated Strong commercial acumen with experience in business product, and/or contract negotiations regarding both pricing and service levels.
Strong IT/ERP/MRP skills with the ability to gather and analyze data and to work with figures.
Advanced collaboration, communications, conflict/problem resolution, negotiation, relationship building skills Internal/External Relationships Experience with inter-departmental and customer communications across multiple platforms Special Requirements Participation in morning and/or evening calls Ability to travel, required Ability to walk, sit or stand for long periods of time Ability to bend, kneel and left heavy objects greater than 50 lbs Ability to climb ladders
