As a Surface Ship Maintenance and Modernization Analyst you'll bring your shipboard hull, mechanical, and engineering or combat systems maintenance management knowledge and expertise to work alongside thought leaders in mission consulting and analytics on projects to sustain and modernize surface ships. You'll use your skills and expertise to analyze problems, develop solutions, and work with Navy leaders to improve surface warfare.
Work with us to plan and synchronize surface ship maintenance and modernization with operational requirements, training schedules, shipyard availability and capacity, and Navy maintenance budgets, working with stakeholders across the surface navy. You Have: 14+ years of experience in Surface Warfare or DoD government or defense industry, including as an afloat Department Head2+ years of experience with coordinating, planning, or managing shipboard maintenance availabilitiesExperience as a Chief Engineer afloat, Damage Control Assistant, Main Propulsion Assistant, Ship's Maintenance and Materiel Officer, or Ship SupervisorAbility to develop, produce, and present briefings, issue papers, presentations, and documents at the tactical through strategic levels at the General Officer or Flag Officer levelSecret clearanceBachelor's degreeNice If You Have: 2+ years of experience on a major staff, including Echelon III or above, or equivalent Joint or Combatant Command staffExperience with ship maintenance cycle processesExperience in Navy requirements development and Navy Program Objective Memorandum (POM) processesExperience in Surface Navy maintenance planning and maintenance managementExperience with NAVSEAMaster's degreeClearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
