Production Lead/Back up- Molding Hours are M-F 2:45pm-1:05am - $18/hr plus $2 additional shift differential
MUST EMAIL RESUME TO to be considered Job Description  Summary/objective The Production Lead will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the daily production activities of the production staff, while ensuring that production goals and objectives are met in a timely and efficient manner, while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Essential functions Coordinate and supervise the daily production activities of assigned staff. Ensure that production goals and objectives are met in a timely and efficient manner, Monitor production performance, identify areas of improvement, and take corrective action as needed. Ensure that production processes are carried out in accordance with established safety and quality standards. Develop and train employees to perform different jobs correctly and to build quality product efficiently. Train and mentor production staff in the use of equipment and processes. Monitor and document employee attendance and performance. Develop and implement production schedules and workflows Enforce company policies and procedures in a consistent and fair manner. Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper stock rotation. Troubleshoot production issues and resolve them in a timely manner. Keep all required work-related records up to date. Keep respected area in compliance with the general manufacturing procedures. Recommend ways to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product. Report machine and equipment malfunctions to maintenance personnel through documented procedures. Follow all safety procedures. Proficient in all essential functions required in the molding operator job description. Competencies Experience in a production or manufacturing environment. Knowledge of production processes and equipment. Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Able to work independently and as a part of a team. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Able to work in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other related software. Basic understanding of ISO 13485 procedures. Due to the business necessity of communication, safety and production must be able to speak, read and write English. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.  Supervisory responsibilities Ability to define daily, weekly, monthly, and annual goals. Ability to provide constructive feedback and coaching to employees. Ensure that employees understand their duties and that their work meets company standards and customer expectations. Ensures that employees are properly trained and educated on the importance of maintaining a safe work environment. Clear communication to management and employees. Ability to prioritize and organize. Good people and communication skills. Assist workers in solving production problems. Required education and experience High School Diploma or GED No previous experience required Preferred Education and experience Previous experience as a lead in a manufacturing environment Physical demands & Travel required No travel required Medium – While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, Kneel, crouch, and use hands to finger, handle, or free objects. The use of common hand tools and regularly sharp tools are involved. The employee frequently is required to talk, hear, and communicate with other employees Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
