Essential Functions: - Conduct non-destructive (NDT) testing on components and materials, adhering to applicable codes, standards, specifications, and procedures.
- Employ various Advanced Ultrasonic NDT methods, such as, Phased Array Ultrasonics, Time of Flight Diffraction (TOFD), & Guided Wave Inspection. - Select, prepare, calibrate, and operate testing equipment accurately.
- Identify material defects using appropriate testing techniques.
- Thoroughly document findings and complete work orders following established protocols and timelines.
- Operate Company vehicles safely and maintain a clean driving record.
- Provide guidance to assigned assistants, ensuring the safety of the entire team.
- Maintain test equipment and tools in optimal working condition.
- Ensure completion of assigned tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
Required Qualifications: - Applicable Level II or III Advanced NDT Certifications in accordance with ASNT requirements.
- Minimum 1 year experience as a lead technician where responsibilities included client interaction, successful job completion, and reporting.
- ASNT Level I and Level II classroom hours with recorded on-the-job training.
- Comfortable working at heights and climbing ladders or scaffolding.
- DISA certified (background, drug, alcohol).
- Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC).
- State-issued driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to document NDT results effectively.
- Provide insights on technique development and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Commitment to safety protocols.
- Capable of lifting and carrying a minimum of 50lbs.
- Computer literate, proficient with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
- Able to generate basic drawings/sketches.
- High School Diploma or GED.
