HMT has an immediate opening for a NDE Level II Technician local to the Baytown, TX area.

Full time hoursCompetitive benefits Responsibilities: Conduct radiography tests in accordance with written company proceduresPrepare test specimens, setup, and adjust test equipment Experience utilizing industry specifications such as: ASME, API, and AWS with testing codes and standards and possess the ability to interpret codes and specificationsAbility to accurately analyze and interpret test data with the ability to report the test results in a clear and well written mannerMaintain related test equipment and tools in good working conditionComplete assigned tasks in a safe and efficient mannerPerform other duties as assigned Required Qualifications: Able to meet requirements ASNT TC1A as an NDE Level 2 technician High School diplomaState RT certified and having other method certs is a plusApproved 40-hour Radiation SafetyASNT Level I and Level II class room hours and recorded on the job training hourTransportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC)State issued driver license with a clean driving recordPossess great organizational skills with the demonstrated ability to document NDT results wellProvide insight on technique developmentComfortability with heightsAbility to work in team environmentDemonstrate a commitment to safetyDISA certified (background, drug, alcohol)Self-motivated with good written and verbal communication skillsMaintain a positive relationship between client, facility, and customersCapable of lifting and carrying a minimum of 50lbsWilling and able to climb and/or work from ladders or scaffoldingComputer literate, proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, & Excel)Able to generate basic drawings / sketches Applicants will also have to pass Weld Spec NDE testing per ASNT TC 1A and verify prior documentation of certifications.
