About the traineeship
In just eight months, you'll prepare alongside fourteen other trainees for a job in the Dutch IT sector. How do we achieve this? Through a combination of language training, technical IT skills, and insight into Dutch work culture. You'll learn software development, take Dutch lessons to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients, and gain an understanding of workplace dynamics. Additionally, you'll participate in workshops to develop soft skills like presenting, assertiveness, and collaboration.
After the training, you'll begin work with one of our partners in Leeuwarden, where we will continue to support you for an additional 18 months through intensive coaching sessions, evaluations, and additional workshops.
Step-by-Step ProgramDutch Language Training (12 weeks): Tailored lessons to elevate your Dutch from B1 to B2, so you can communicate confidently in a professional environment.Basic Training (2 weeks): Learn about Dutch work culture, communication, presentation techniques, CV building, and get introduced to Agile/Scrum methodologies.IT Bootcamp (12 weeks): Comprising three modules: Business IT (Project Management, Business Requirements, UI/UX Design), Back-End (Python, DevOps, Testing), and IT Fundamentals (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Security). Trainees build technical skills and explore their ideal IT roles.Internal Internship (4-12 weeks): Apply your knowledge in a simulated Dutch Agile work environment, work on applications in sprints, and receive feedback from trainers and mentors.Paid Job in Leeuwarden: After successfully completing the traineeship, you'll start working with one of our partner companies in Leeuwarden.Practical informationFull-time: Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.Hybrid: Two to four days per week at the training location in Leeuwarden, with the remaining days working from home.Cost-Free: Training expenses are covered, as well as travel expenses and a laptop if needed.Status holder or newcomer with a refugee background, with the right to work.Dutch language proficiency at minimum B1 level.Experience with or strong interest in IT.Completed education at HBO level (equivalent to a bachelor's degree).Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and eagerness to learn.
