You Will: Manage the network infrastructure for a project supporting engineering and design of various levels of complexityPerform systems operations integration for various U.S. Navy networksMaintain the project's configuration management and test network configurationsAct as project's liaison with the Enterprise Engineering and Certification (E2C) Virtual Hosting Environment (VHE) Network ServicesCreate and maintain Visio diagrams of the network infrastructure and other network management related functionsPerform distance and/or onsite support of networks, servers, and data communications pathsResearch issues using available resources and advise customer on appropriate actionsProvide support and integration expertise for U.S. Navy network systems and associated systemsProvide on-site technical assistance to lab personnelMaintain network exceptions list with CNDManage DISA-to-NOC connectionsManaging GRE tunnel with a remote siteYou Have: US CitizenshipA minimum of a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret level Security Clearance or be able to obtain an interim security clearance prior to hire dateMust have and maintain eligibility for increased personnel security clearance levels and/or Special Access Programs (SAP)Experience in TCP/IP and common protocols such as FTP, SSH, OSPF, BGP, SNMP, and NTPExperience in routing and switching (Cisco preferred)Experience in firewall administration (Cisco preferred)Experience in network administrationExperience in Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)Strong troubleshooting skillsProficiency with Virtual Networking, Cisco Networking, Microsoft Networking, and VisioExperience with Microsoft Windows Server Active Directory on Server 2012 and Server 2016Experience with VMwareWorking knowledge of PowerShell scriptingCurrent CompTIA Security+ CE Certification required or must be able to obtain within six monthsMinimum 8 years' experience as a Network Administrator, Technician, System Administrator, Field Engineer, or System AnalystStrong work ethic and commitment to qualityStrong written and oral communication skills and ability to communicate with all levels of personnelStrong multi-tasking skills and the ability to balance multiple goals and prioritiesAbility to work with teammates and technical experts in a highly collaborative environmentAbility to handle tasks of moderate scope providing solutions that are innovative and timelyBasic knowledge of installation and maintenance of network cablingAbility to perform software installations, including configuration and troubleshootingAbility to solve problems efficiently and quicklySelf-starter exhibiting personal initiative to learn, teach, be flexible, and have a passion for ITWe'd Be Impressed If You Had: Bachelor's degree preferred but will accept comparable years of experienceCisco CCNA is highly preferredExperience with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Visio Want to hear more?
