CleanSpark is seeking a well-qualified Network Engineer to support our Network Operations Team as it ensures the network is performing to expectations. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about Networking and thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
\n Duties/Responsibilities Assist with the development, implementation, installation, and operation of information systems Focused on data networking services Assist with the development, implementation, installation, and operation of Foreman across all sites. Developing, directing, and reporting on all activities associated with the health, performance and reliability of all network components and services under Network Operations control, including capacity planning, availability trending, and network performance. Capacity planning, availability trending, and network performance Assisting in defining appropriate technology standards to use within the company's existing architecture Understanding emerging technologies and determine appropriate use within business applications and how that best plays to the overall organizational strategy. Overseeing all change management, related audit activities associated with the network environment, including documentation requirements, scheduled outages and operational procedures Proactive monitoring of all network related components under Network Operations control and quick resolution (during and after hours) by establishing strong documentation, notification and escalation procedures Adhere to procedures and policies that exceed local Health & Safety standards for bitcoin mining facilities. Analyze and report Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for mission critical facility operations Manage and report inventory needs to key stakeholders Work with leadership on escalation of workforce, and operational concerns. Provide site level insight and reporting to Network Engineering Manager Project deployment as required Additional duties as required QualificationsDemonstrable experience with Cisco IOS, Juniper JNOS, or similar and good understanding of network best practice architectures and design principles is necessary Strong knowledge of Linux, Microsoft Windows Server, Cisco routers and firewalls, TCP/IP, DNS, Active-Directory and Microsoft IIS is preferred Must have a strong background in network engineering and network management Hands-on experience with network evaluation and troubleshooting tools At least 4 years of hands-on experience Basic knowledge of networking, electrical, and mechanical processes
