Network Engineer

Job Title: Network Engineer Location: Annapolis, MD – Hybrid Long term Contract Job Description: Mandatory Skills: Education: Associate degree in IT-related field.Certification:Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) in Enterprise or Security.Experience:Expertise in Layer 2 & 3 network optimization.Proficiency with routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF).Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst and Nexus platforms.Ability to configure, secure, and troubleshoot enterprise wireless networks.Strong understanding of network security services such as VPNs, intrusion prevention, and two-factor authentication. Preferred Skills: Experience:10+ years of IT networking experience.Education: Bachelor's degree in IT-related field.Certifications:Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) in Enterprise or Security.Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE).Prisma Certified Cloud Security Engineer (PCCSE).Experience with SD-WAN, cloud networking, VoIP, and Zero Trust Network Access.Strong knowledge of network management protocols and scripting for automation.
