Network Engineer

Our client, a Fortune 1000 in the Electrical and Natural Gas space, is actively seeking an experienced Network Engineer who can work with networking equipment, mainly from Cisco, to help manage the flow of data within the company and between different sites. Contract Duration: 12 months Work Schedule: Hybrid, Monday - Friday including on - call responsibilities Office Address: 220 West Main Street, Louisville, KY, 4020 W2 CANDIDATES ONLY AT THIS TIME - Sponsorship and C2C is NOT available What will you be doing? Ideal candidate will be maintaining the integrity and functionality of the organization's network infrastructure, particularly in cloud environments. Work regularly within different cloud environments including AWS or Azure. Ideal candidate will have proficiency in route and switch operations in a medium to large enterprise network environment, with a preference for Cisco-based systems. Take on any on - call responsibilities as needed. Qualifications: Degree in IT, or 4 - 6 years of relevant experience, or at least 8 years of experience if no degree. Experience w/Data Center Switching(Cisco ACI a plus), Firewall (Cisco FTD/Palo Alto Enterprise)BGP, Cloud integrations (Azure, or AWS).
