Take your infrastructure career to the next level in this permanent career focused role where you will be a valued member of a talented team, supporting critical in-house network components for a global media company.
How will your talents be utilized? Maintain and support mission critical network components (MPLS based WAN, multicast, redundant internet connectivity across carriers, VxLan, load balancers, wireless and firewalls)Troubleshoot complex issues impacting the business.Contribute to the documentation, operational procedures and knowledge base of NetOps team.Follow change process and documentation requirements.Remain current on new products, services, protocols, and standards to design and develop supported systems and support critical project implementations.Assess need for any system optimization or remediation, make recommendations, and execute them as required.Support Special Events such as the "Super Bowl"! Experience & Qualifications Cisco CCNA CertificationAt least 4 years of experience troubleshooting large, (200+ data network devices) technically complex networking environments (redundant WAN & internet)Strengths in OSPF routing and BGP protocolsDemonstrated experience in following operational processes and adherence to KPI and SLAsExperience supporting complex critical data network components in-house including routers, switches (Cisco Nexus 9000), OSPF, WAN, firewalls, wirelessExperienced utilizing ITSM platforms such as Remedy or Service NowDemonstrate ability to successfully communicate and interact with internal and external parties including Telecom carriers re WAN EPL, MPLS and DIA circuits Nice to haves
Prior experience supporting in-house MPLS (LDP, MPiBGP), complex QoS, VxLan, Netscaler load balancers, Checkpoint FirewallsPrior Experience using Solarwinds network management tools Essential Personal Attributes
