The Myticas team is searching for a Network Operations Specialist-Provisioning who will be responsible for managing customer interactions post-sale.
This is a hybrid remote position.
Candidates must be local to Chicago, IL.
Key responsibilities include: Provisioning and support of facility and non-facility fiber, wireless, and market data circuits, including bolt-on services.
Communicating with customers regarding implementation status and coordinating LOA/CFAs and turn-ups with Type II vendors.
Developing and maintaining a comprehensive circuit inventory and interfacing with the Tier 1 NOC.
Coordinating maintenance notices to customers as needed.
Other Responsibilities: Delivering, provisioning, and supporting on-network and Type II products and services.
Installing, upgrading, and maintaining RF, Fiber, and Market Data infrastructure.
Responding to Tier 1 and Tier 2 customer NOC requests via email and phone.
Utilizing and updating Network Monitoring Applications, including PRTG, Icinga, and Grafana.
Provisioning datacenter connectivity and maintaining inventory of related assets.
Administering external vendor portals (e.g., Equinix, NASDAQ, Verizon) for various operational tasks.
Conducting network verification testing and coordinating field activities, including tower installations and equipment changes.
Qualifications: BS in Telecommunications, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
3-5 years of experience in a large enterprise or carrier environment with increasing responsibility.
Strong leadership, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of service delivery, provisioning, circuit/equipment inventory, OSI stack, routing protocols, and RF/Optical equipment.
Must be legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.
Willingness to travel as needed.
