ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Must have Jack Henry experience Assists in the support of the Bank's local and wide area network hardware and software.
Sets up and maintains essential network operations, including assembling network hardware, and provides support to the Director of Network Services.
Conducts troubleshooting to identify and diagnose common network issues.
Upgrades network hardware and software components as necessary.
Installs, upgrades, and configures network printing, directory structures, user rights, security settings, and file services.
Offers technical support to users regarding network issues.
Collaborates with other departments and vendors to report and resolve software, hardware, and operational problems.
Addresses user inquiries regarding access to network resources.
Establishes network users, user environments, directories, and security protocols for newly installed networks.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems or Computer Science, along with three years of relevant experience in PC-based/LAN environments, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
Proficient in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software configuration issues.
Strong customer service skills to effectively manage challenging or emotional user situations; responsive to user needs, seeks feedback to enhance service, and fulfills commitments.
Demonstrated ability to adapt to changes in the work environment, adjusting methods to best meet solution requirements, and capable of handling frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends.
