Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science or related, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
8 years related experience in telephone systems/software, voice engineering (hardware and software), and designing/planning/implementing voice systems.
6 years' experience with automated call distribution (ACD) technology.
6 years' experience in VoIP or voice network engineering.
Thorough knowledge of Voice over IP systems, as well as legacy telephony switches and analog devices.
Proven ability to communicate effectively with service requestors to gather requirements for telephony systems design.
Proven ability to work and build rapport with vendors for the purpose of acquiring supplies and services in support of company voice systems Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following.
Successful development and implementation of new technologies and work processes High competency in project management and the execution of multiple or large projects, with experience in cross-functional environments.
Advanced technical skills covering computer networks, hardware, Windows Server, Windows desktop operating systems, DOS commands, batch scripts, wide range of PC products and practices and procedures used in IT support roles.
Advanced knowledge and experience with IT infrastructure, data networks, voice systems, Telco, Active Directory, , PC and/or business systems, concepts, practices and procedures.
Advanced knowledge of PSE applications/procedures and processes (REMEDY, Visio, ISR's, Budget, Change Control, PSE Cable Management Database).
Proficiency with Cisco IOS commands, software upgrades and with basic network switching and routing topologies.
Proficiency with VoIP system protocols, including QOS.
