Neurologist Opening In Northern Vermont - Some Inpatient

Seeking a full-time (4.0 or 4.5 days/week) BE/BC neurologist to join a highly productive, skilled, and popular neurologist and selected outreach clinic sites to help meet clinical demands for services and build a neurology service.
Provides office-based general neurology services to new and established patients (adolescents age 16 and older as well as adults) including:
Medication managementEducation and counseling of patients and familiesOrdering diagnostic testsReferral to related other specialties (e.g., cardiology, orthopedics, pain management, pulmonology, sleep medicine) locallyReferral to subspecialty neurologists at tertiary care centersCommunication with PCPs.Most commonly diagnosed conditions encountered are:
MigraineMemory LossEssential TremorParkinson's DiseaseCognitive ImpairmentDizzinessEpilepsyMultiple SclerosisPolyneuropathyHeadachePartners with other members of the neurology team (e.g., neurologist colleague, radiologist, EEG technologists, MAs and RNs, physical therapists). Infrequently provides consultation for inpatients (0-3 times/week).
