Cedars-Sinai was among the first to offer a comprehensive and truly multidisciplinary approach to diagnosing and treating all skull-base conditions – from pituitary tumors to meningiomas, craniopharyngiomas, chordomas and acoustic neuromas – with a clear expertise in endonasal approaches and minimally invasive endoscopic methods. investigators are currently engaged in developing an immunotherapy protocol to treat patients with neurofibromatosis 2 who develop multiple brain tumors. Additionally, the Pituitary Apoplexy Surgical Timing and Outcomes Registry (PASTOR), a project initiated at Cedars-Sinai, provides definitive guidelines for the treatment of pituitary apoplexy and gathers data about treatment approaches and outcomes from nine medical centers in the U.S., Canada, Europe and Asia, with results to be published and presented in 2022.

Our compensation philosophy
We offer competitive total compensation that includes pay, benefits, and other incentive programs for our employees. The total pay range shown considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including knowledge/skills; relevant experience and training; education/certifications/licensure; and other business and organizational factors. This total pay range includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role. We also offer a comprehensive faculty benefits package.
Pay Range: $586,000 – $1,172,000 Total Cash CompensationQualificationsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
1. Medical Degree from an accredited medical school.
2. Board Certification or eligibility in Neurosurgery.
3. Unrestricted California license as Physician and Surgeon.
4. CSMC Medical Staff Membership
5. Commitment to developing and fostering a multidisciplinary, collaborative approach to patient care.
6. Demonstrated competence in continuous quality improvement processes including experience in measuring, assessing and improving the performance of service and processes in a large and complex medical center.
7. A track record of excellence in teaching, patient care and administration.
8. Computer competency comprised of a working knowledge of windows and/or a comparable operating system that sufficiently provides for access to patient and other business information.
