School-Based Occupational Therapist Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School-Based Occupational Therapist to join our educational team. In this role, you will work collaboratively with students, teachers, and families to support the development of students fine motor skills, sensory processing, and overall functional abilities. Key Responsibilities: Assess students occupational performance and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their needs. Provide direct therapy services to students in various educational settings, focusing on enhancing their independence and participation in school activities. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to promote each students functional goals and overall well-being. Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, supportive educational environment. Qualifications: Masters or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the relevant state. Experience working with children, particularly in a school setting, is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
