Minimum 1+ years occupational therapy experience required. Key Responsibilities: Assessments & Evaluations: Conduct thorough evaluations of students fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills to identify areas of need and set individualized goals. Therapy Plan Development: Create and implement personalized therapy plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators, parents, and other professionals. Direct Therapy Services: Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions aimed at improving motor coordination, handwriting, sensory processing, self-regulation, and other functional skills. Collaboration & Support: Work closely with teachers, special education teams, and families to ensure therapy goals are integrated into classroom routines and activities. Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate records of assessments, progress, and treatment plans in accordance with school policies and regulatory standards. Qualifications: Education: Masters or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Licensing & Certification: Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist. Experience: Previous experience in pediatric or school-based therapy preferred. Experience with IEP development and working within multidisciplinary teams is a plus. Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and parents to meet students' needs. Organizational skills to manage a caseload and maintain timely documentation. Preferred: Experience working with students with autism, ADHD, or other developmental disorders. Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus but not required.
