Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required. Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team and provide comprehensive speech and language services to K-12 students. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students in overcoming communication challenges and achieving their academic and social potential. Key Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in students. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor progress. Provide direct therapy services and develop group sessions as needed. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student goals. Educate staff and families on communication strategies and resources. Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state regulations. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team discussions regarding student progress. Qualifications: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred. Experience working with K-12 students is a plus. Knowledge of current best practices in speech and language therapy. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Requirements: State License: Must hold a current and valid state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist. ASHA Certification: CCC-SLP preferred but not mandatory for recent graduates. Background Check: Successful completion of a background check as required by the school district. CPR and First Aid Certification: Current certification preferred.
