Job Summary: As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. You will work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other specialists to develop individualized treatment plans that support student success in the classroom and beyond. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students. Provide direct therapy services to students, utilizing evidence-based practices. Collaborate with teachers and staff to support students communication needs in the classroom. Educate and empower parents on strategies to support their childs communication skills at home. Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, progress, and services provided. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development opportunities. Qualifications: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Valid state license in Speech-Language Pathology or eligibility for licensure. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred. Experience in a K-12 school setting is highly desirable. Strong understanding of speech and language development, disorders, and best practices in intervention. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of students, parents, and staff.
