Business Systems Specialist Reports to: Director of Claims and Client Services
PRIMARY PURPOSE: Business Systems Specialists provides the navigation, technical and process support for all business users. In addition, they perform data quality analysis, accounting services, and ultimate adjustments, and create reports for internal and external use.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
• Provide basic department general systems navigation training
• Provide training, support, and troubleshooting for claims software platforms
• Perform daily claims check processing, check pulls, refund research, recovery, and other
financial transactions
• Provide data quality analysis and correction for financial, claims, and policy related data
• Answers staff inquiries
• Direct deposit reconciliation
• Prepares various letters, reports and forms to include:
Loss Runs, Claim system reports, Letter template for use in claim system, Monthly reporting
maintenance
• Conducts QA of business users work performed and provides results to manager
Requirements: • Knowledge in generating process documentation

Work Environment Team environment. This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and scanners.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
