Work weeks consist of 12-hour shifts from 6 pm - 6:15 am Monday - Thursday. Regular Duties and Responsibilities include:
Set-up, operate and troubleshoot the Canister Line operation based on customer specifications. Enter lot code information into the computer system and verify accuracy. Complete Quality checks as scheduled. This includes metal detectors, weights and lot codes. Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of filled or packaged products to standards. Adjust machine components and machine tension and pressure according to machine specifications for size of canister to ensure quality and conformity to product. Communicate with supervisor and scheduler on production schedules, quality issues and supply problems. Clean, oil, and make minor adjustments or repairs to machinery and equipment. Maintain a clean work environment. Essential Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to analyze information, machine and process to troubleshoot mechanical problems. Basic knowledge of repairing and maintaining mechanical and electronic equipment Ability to communication and participate in team-based decision-making processes. Ability to coordinate and organize production runs. Physical Demands
Ability to walk and stand for an extended period of time. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to remain alert for a 12-hour shift.
