BJC Medical Group is seeking a Nocturnist to join their Parkland Health Center team in Farmington, Missouri.
Parkland Health Center offers a full continuum of inpatient and medical-surgical and intensive care, obstetrics, geriatric psychiatry and emergency services, along with a wide variety of outpatient services including oncology services, an infusion center, a cardiac catheterization lab, a wound care clinic, and the Huckstep Heart and Lung Center.

Parkland Health Center Hospitalists are medical physicians who specialize in the care of hospitalized patients. They are located on the campus in Farmington, MO.
Role Purpose The physician will provide professional medical services within the practicing Specialty through direct patient care and other related duties such as completing medical records, providing MyChart consultations, conducting patient-specific education, and collaborating with advanced practice providers and care team members.
Responsibilities Manages the medical care of patient panel by providing or arranging for inpatient hospital care of patients, either through regular hospital rounds or making arrangements with hospitalists or other qualified physicians. Collaborates with patients, families, and members of the care team to ensure excellent patient care outcomes. Performs and documents medical histories and physicals in the patient's medical record as required. Provides or arranges for call coverage in a manner acceptable to BJC. Collaborates and teaches advanced practice providers and support staff in the care of patients. This is a safety-sensitive position requiring constant alertness and safe work practices.
