Accommodating more than 250,000 outpatient visits, and more than 15,000 inpatient admissions annually. Opportunity Details: Medical management and care of patients in the Medicine Inpatient unitsMedical management of patients awaiting admission to Medicine Inpatient Units in the Emergency Department and Designated patient hold areasAttend to consultations and referrals as neededProvide education and training to residents, medical student staff and junior members of the medical teamCollaboration with facility-wide departments as requiredParticipation in hospital-wide performance and quality improvement projects and patient safety initiativesQualificationsBoard Certified or Board Eligible in Internal MedicineCurrent or pending NYS licenseCultural sensitivity and experience treating a diverse patient population preferredWages and Benefits include: Annual Base Salary: $218,418* (board eligible) and $224,220* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $333,279** (board eligible) and $339,662** (board certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401 (k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:
Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520.Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year's average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings.
