Pitney Bowes is hiring for Non CDL Truck Driver, 2nd Shift in our Ashland, VA facility.
Join our team and earn $20.00 per hour paid weekly with the opportunity for overtime.
Your work schedule is Monday - Friday from 11:00AM - 8:30PM.

Responsibilities: Schedule Adherence: Responsible for picking up and delivering mail from our customers. Inspection: Inspects products to verify conformance to customer specifications, and USPS regulations Mail Review: Ensures that the mail is reviewed for proper dates, presort slugs and a pickup slip is attached with each order prior to loading the truck. Warehouse Duties: Performing warehouse duties including wrapping pallets, stacking trays, and loading trucks. Driver Log: Maintains daily driver's log for mileage and cargo. Documentation: Maintain documentation for customer pickups such as collecting signatures and tracking/documenting mail counts and assisting with mail related questions Vehicle and Work Area Cleanliness: Keeps vehicle, production floor and area clean. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Age Requirement: Must be minimum 21 years in age. Licensing: Valid state motor vehicle operator's license (State in which driver resides) Driving Skills: Ability to drive a Straight Truck up to 26,000 GVWR Experience: Must have a minimum of six months verifiable driving experience in similar sized vehicles (i.e., straight truck) within the last 3 years with a safe driving record Basic Computer Skills: Ability to read a map and understand directions. Physical Ability: Capable of lifting at least 50 lbs., walking, standing, stooping, and bending with or without accommodations. Flexibility: Ability to work mandatory overtime, which may include weekends, holidays, and/or different shifts with little or no advance notice. Language Skills: Basic understanding of English to comprehend and follow safety and operational directions communicated in English.
