We are looking to hire a highly motivated, best-in-class Non-Destructive Testing Engineer to join our growing Operations Services team. The team responsibilities include maintaining critical equipment in support of providing best in class availability for our data center customers. The Non-Destructive Testing Engineer will work closely with both internal customers, external vendors as well as coordinate regional resources to facilitate smooth work execution. This critical role is responsible for the non-destructive testing of all data center critical systems including power distribution, mechanical, plumbing, building automation, structural, and all other equipment that supports the critical operation.
Our ideal candidate is highly autonomous, very detail oriented, possesses strong written and verbal communication skills, and has significant experience in supporting critical infrastructure. They will possess the ability to design, develop, and deploy innovative solutions to address operational challenges. This role requires both independent contribution as well as the ability to work within multi-disciplinary teams. The scope of projects will include, but is not limited to, the improvement of electrical, mechanical, fire detection, and building automation systems. An expert level of understanding of these systems is desirable, as the individual will be expected to identify areas for improvement as well as act on data provided from other teams and organizations.

Key ResponsibilitiesApply non-destructive testing techniques to install, maintain, and troubleshoot all data center critical systems including power distribution, mechanical, plumbing, building automation, structural, and all other equipment that supports the critical operation.Act as an ambassador for safety within the team and promote safe working across the site.Remain cognizant of and act in compliance with all security protocols.Interact with engineers, technicians, project managers, and management on a daily basis.Develop and maintain a good working relationship across all levels in the organization.Ensure consistency in deployed configurations and track exceptions for follow up.Execute predictive and preventive maintenance programs.Provide support for planned and unplanned outages.Provide cross-functional support for services teams.Other duties as assigned.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 1+ year of experience in data center or mission-critical facility operations (e.g., hospitals, military installations, public safety facilities, or equivalent environments), or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Physics, or a relevant technical discipline from an accredited institution, coupled with military or trade school training.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Demonstrated expertise in leading and managing operations of mission-critical facilities, requiring in-depth knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and control systems. Substantial work experience in a critical environment, preferably with data center operations exposure.
- Proficiency in identifying safety concerns and maintaining a secure work environment in compliance with NFPA 70E guidelines.
