Minimum 1+ years physical therapy experience required. Soliantis seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and skilled School-Based Physical Therapist to join our team. This position involves working directly with students ranging from PreK-12thto develop, implement, and assess individualized physical therapy programs. The therapist will collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, parents, and other health professionals to support students' physical development and mobility in the school setting. Key Responsibilities: Assessment & Evaluation: Conduct physical therapy evaluations to assess students' physical abilities, mobility, strength, coordination, balance, and motor skills. Individualized Therapy Plans: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and physical therapy treatment plans based on students' needs, goals, and abilities. Collaboration: Work with a multidisciplinary team, including teachers, school nurses, special education professionals, and parents, to ensure holistic support for students. Direct Therapy Services: Provide direct one-on-one or small group therapy to students in individual or classroom settings, focusing on physical mobility, posture, and gross motor skills. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of assessments, therapy sessions, and student progress, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Student & Family Support: Provide education and recommendations to families and caregivers on how to support students physical needs both at school and at home. Professional Development: Stay current with the latest research, trends, and best practices in pediatric physical therapy and school-based therapy services. Qualifications: Required: Masters or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist (or ability to obtain licensure). Experience working with children, preferably in a school setting or pediatric therapy environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of IEP development and special education processes. Preferred: Experience working with students with special needs or physical disabilities. Familiarity with school-based therapy practices and state regulations. CPR and First Aid certification (or willing to obtain upon hire).
