Job Description - NP - Family Care RR (******** ) Location: Wythe County Physician Pract
Reports to: Director of Physician Practices
Description: Provides primary or acute healthcare services for certain acute or chronic health conditions in specific populations in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice under the supervision of an assigned physician.
Qualifications: Required Skills:
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.Athena and Meditech experience preferred.Required Licensure/Certification:
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 60 days of hire.Virginia, United States
Nurse Practitioner and in good standing with the Board of Health Professionals.Must possess Controlled Substance Registration Certificate by the Dept of Justice Drug Enforcement Administration prior to the first day of seeing patients.Minimum Work Experience:
Previous experience in a community health setting preferred.Job SchedulePrimary Location: Virginia-Wytheville

Work Schedule: Day shift, 7-10 hr/shift, weekdays only
