Our client is a leading global manufacturer of industrial machinery, with customers across a variety of industries.
The company has adopted new LEAN practices and new manufacturing technologies, and is currently forecasting impressive growth in the near term future.


Job Description Lead & develop a team of Mechanical/NPD Engineers - evaluate and develop performance, provide training & feedback Lead NPD efforts for specific product lines, delegating tasks and serving as point person for collaboration between other departments internally Perform testing and analyses to ensure top product quality - FEA, FMEA Serve as technical point of contact for customers Work in 3D modeling software to develop new products MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.

The Successful Applicant Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required 5+ years' experience in an NPD/Mechanical Design Engineering role with supervisory/managerial duties Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills Excellent project management skills with proven track record of meeting deadlines and budgets Experience working cross-functionally with other internal & external stakeholders to drive project completion Background in an industrial/metals manufacturing setting - knowledge of machining, fabrication, welding, and/or stamping processes Strong proficiency in SolidWorks/other 3D CAD software What's on Offer Base salary $120,000 - $145,000 depending on level of experience Annual 15% bonus incentive in company's manager tier - paid out 20+% last year 3 weeks PTO + 1 week sick time 2 floating holidays & 12 company holidays Health coverage through BCBS 401k match Pension Plan
