WWC Federal, an operating firm of Command Holdings, is currently seeking a highly qualified NSW Wargame Planner who will advise and assist in the development of wargame plans, designs, capabilities, and operational concepts for approval by Commander Naval Special Warfare Command based on existing and newly directed policies from all levels of government. The SOF Exercise Designer IV (Wargame Planner) shall support NSWC N5 through performance of tasks such as:
Advise and assist in the development of wargame plans, designs, capabilities, and operational concepts for approval by Commander Naval Special Warfare Command based on existing and newly directed policies from all levels of government.Collaborate with commands, activities, institutions, and industries at all echelons to follow the latest trends, innovations, and advances in technology and intelligence; and to understand their implications for NSW plans, policy, and programs.Provide advice, analysis, and recommendations regarding emerging technology, innovative techniques, and evolving organizations as they pertain to NSW programs, policy, and plans.Organize, plan, and facilitate wargames and planning exercises as directed by Commander, Naval Special Warfare Command.Develop and provide Project Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M) and conduct Initial Concept Briefs (ICB) for assigned projects; due dates and suspense timelines will be mutually agreed upon between the contractor and Government representatives appropriate to the instant projects. The contractor shall prepare and brief draft POAM which fully define proposed approaches to requirements.Expected salary range: $110,000 - $120,000 Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree.Current, active TS/SCI security clearance.Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience regarding executive decision making, policy development, operational planning, wargaming and planning exercises, as well as experience in executive government correspondence.Prior SOF (O5-O6, E9, CW5)Minimum 18 years of special operations experienceDemonstrate recent experience and familiarity with current professional knowledge of the full range of Special Operations, Naval Special Warfare, and Joint Military Operations.Minimum of 6 years of recent experience serving in a command, senior enlisted advisor, or primary staff billet in a SOF (USSOCOM/TSOC), Service, Joint Staff, OSD, or 3-4 Star level Service/GCC HQsGraduate of Service or Joint ILE or Enlisted equivalentCompletion of Service or Joint Senior Professional Military Education or Enlisted equivalent preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in exercise and scenario design and managementMinimum of 8 years of experience conducting joint and coalition operations and trainingMinimum of 4 years of experience with Service, SOF, and Joint doctrine, planning, operations, training, and exercisesMinimum of 4 years of experience developing operational products to support GCC and TSOC SOF/CT exercisesMinimum of 4 years of experience researching and integrating current intelligence and operations to develop complex scenarios, studies, and analysis related to SOF core activities for all geographic areasMinimum of 4 years of experience to communication exercise design details with operational level exercise planners, staffs, and commanders; interagency partners, and partner nation exercise plannersOutstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus.Professional proficiency in English is required.Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.Valid driver's license (proof of which will be required after hire) and ability to qualify for and maintain WWC liability insurance through a clean driving record.Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. WWC Federal will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree.Graduate of Advanced Military Studies.Availability within three weeks of offer date.
