The community you'll be caring for: AdventHealth Redmond Rome's historical markers help document the city's history and give insight into the culturally rich heritage.Developed as a regional center for the fields of medical care and education.In addition to its public-school system, it has several private schools. Higher-level educational institutions include private Berry College and Shorter University, and the public Georgia Northwestern Technical College and Georgia Highlands College.Largest city near the center of the triangular area defined by the Interstate highways between Atlanta, GA, Birmingham, AL, and Chattanooga, TN.GENERAL SUMMARY: To deliver quality imaging by means of diagnostic imaging techniques to detect and map radioactive drugs in the human body. Nuclear Medicine Technologists administer radioactive pharmaceuticals to patients, then monitor the characteristics and functions of tissues or organs in which they localize.
The role you'll contribute: Ability to deal efficiently, ethically, and courteously with all patients, physicians, and hospital personnel. Excellent verbal and written skills to facilitate communication with medical personnel that addresses the physical, psychosocial, educational, safety and age-appropriate needs of the patient population within the organization.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: High School Diploma or GED, Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Program, Certification by the ARRT or Certification by the NMTCB.Prior Nuclear Medicine experience required.LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED: BLS Certification at employment or within one month of employment.Current Certification from the ARRT, NMT Certification or NMTCB Certification.
