About The Position **Job Title:** Nuclear Medicine Technologist **Job Specialty:** Radiology / Cardiology - Nuclear Medicine **Job Duration:** 13 Weeks **Shift:** Wednesday to Saturday, Day Shift, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM (4x9.5-Hour) **Guaranteed Hours:** Not Specified **Experience:** No prior job-related work experience required, though one year of experience in Nuclear Medicine is preferred **License:** ODH licensure required **Certifications:** - CPR Certification - Nuclear Medicine registry - ARRT RT (R) registry and/or NMTCB **Must-Have:** - Associate degree in Allied Health, majoring in Nuclear Medicine Technology **Job Description:** - Independently perform Nuclear Medicine procedures using proper techniques and administration of radiopharmaceuticals. - Work within scope of practice and accordance with certification/licensure in medication administration, equipment operation, and venipuncture. - Coordinate patient flow and activities of the Nuclear Medicine department, ensuring adherence to radiation protection practices. - Exercise professional judgment to maintain equipment in good working condition. - Perform procedures in other imaging modalities as needed by the department. - May involve on-call responsibilities.
