Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Job Summary:
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will perform diagnostic studies using scanners and scintillation cameras, prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, and ensure the safety and comfort of patients during procedures.
This role requires a minimum of one year of recent experience in nuclear medicine and certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

Essential Responsibilities: Greet and explain procedure to patients, ensuring their safety and comfort Review and prepare patient's medical history and administer prescribed doses Position patients for examination, monitor their condition, and calibrate equipment Maintain equipment, inventory supplies, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements Participate in continued education and training programs to maintain technical competency Basic Qualifications: Minimum one (1) year of continuous recent experience in nuclear medicine required Graduate of a certified/accredited ARRT program and specialized training in Nuclear Medicine required American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certificate - Nuclear Medicine Technologist American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certificate - Computed Tomography within 6 months of hire Basic Life Support Preferred Qualifications: Minimum two (2) years of continuous experience as CT Technologist performing positron emission tomography examinations preferred Work Address: Lutherville-Timonium Medical Center, Maryland
