*Full Time Days - $7,000 Sign-on Bonus**Essential Functions** Assign, monitor and review progress and accuracy of work and provides technical guidance.* Review and evaluate images to determine if they are satisfactory for diagnostic purposes.* Works to identify and solve operational problems, reduce costs, improve efficiency and continually improve overall operation of the department.* Assists with planning routine and on-call technologist schedules for staff including weekdays, weekends and holiday rotation in collaboration with Manager or Director.* Submits monthly on-call schedule to paging department.* Reviews, edits, corrects and validates EHR and PACS to ensure accurate patient procedure image labeling, supplies and charges for patient procedures on a daily basis.* Assists with planning to modify policies, procedures, staffing and expenses as required by new administrative strategies, CMS, DOH and DNV regulations and conditions of coverage or as reimbursement changes dictate.* Collaborates with the Manager and Medical Directors in planning, guiding, and evaluating technical staff's clinical skills and competency.* Serves as a role model to all personnel by demonstrating a high level of expertise with systems, including trouble-shooting skills, effective interactions with patients & staff, leadership ability and professional behavior.* Oversees and actively participates in annual and monthly competencies.* Able to identify adverse events or unanticipated outcomes using critical thinking skills and notifies the medical staff including management, nurses and physicians appropriately.* Ability to effectively motivate and lead others to promote a healthy positive work environment.* Assign daily staffing schedule, coordinate coverage for sick calls and absences.* Keep management apprised of patient complaints, staff issues.* Performs direct patient care, utilizing established policies, procedures and standards. Administers contrast and IV's according to policy and procedure.* Accurately executes provider orders according to policies and procedures. Performs indirect patient care, utilizing established procedures, policies, and standards.* Communicates pertinent information to the appropriate persons in a timely manner.* Performs accurate and timely documentation according to SVH guidelines.* Accurately prepares, compounds, dispenses and administers all radiopharmaceuticals and medications necessary for Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT.* Adhere to ASRT and SNMMI standards of practice.* Able to work independently and unsupervised and be available for regular emergency standby coverage off-hours and on weekends.* Availability to work at multiple locations.*Education** High School diploma or GED required.* Successful completion of a formal Nuclear Medicine Technology training program.*Experience/Training** Minimum one (1) year prior experience preferred.*License/Certifications** Current Washington State Radiological Technologist Certification required.* Current American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) Nuclear Medicine Registry or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) CNMT registry required.* American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) Computed Tomography (CT) Registry or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) Computed Tomography (CT) registry preferred.* Current AHA (American Heart Association) Healthcare Provider BLS required.* Valid Washington State Food Worker Card required within first 30 days of hire.Skagit Regional Health offers a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, vision, 457b/401a (retirement), long term disability, and paid time off to all employees holding an FTE of 20 or more hours per week.
