About the opportunity:

Prepares, positions, and scans patients for Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT exams. Prepares and administers radioactive isotopes, and operates Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT imaging equipment.

What you will do:
Performs high quality Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT imaging exams utilizing ACR guidelines to obtain the desired diagnostic patient information for the Radiologist.
Complies with the State of Colorado guidelines for radiation safe practice in the handling of radiopharmaceuticals.
Performs quality control procedures to ensure optimal performance of all Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT, and radiation hot lab equipment.
Practices safe handling of radioactive materials according to State of Colorado regulations to ensure minimal radiation exposure to self and others.
Performs record keeping, customer service functions, and communicates feedback in order to ensure goals of the department are met and operation runs efficiently.
Participates in various teaching and/or learning opportunities in order to further knowledge and to assist in expanding the knowledge of others.
Maintains constructive collaborative communication with patients, patient's family, physicians, co- workers, and other members of the health care team to contribute to continuity of care.
Role models the principles of a Just Culture and Organizational Values.
Perform other duties as assigned. Must be HIPAA compliant.

What you will need:

Experience:

One to two years of Nuclear Medicine experience required.
License(s):

N/A
Certification(s):

Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board OR American Registry of Radiologic Technologist with a Nuclear specialty (ARRT (N)) required.
Computer / Typing:

Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days, the computers skills necessary to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.
Must have working knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English.

Pay is based upon relevant education and experience per hour.

Hourly Pay:

$40.70-$61.04 USD
