Collaborates with Director of Staff Development, Directors of Nursing and other Supervisors to ensure education requirements are being met. Supports new hires in onboarding, training and development. Leads the On Track Nursing Assistant class as needed.Pay and ScheduleFull-time, 40 hours per week. Typically day shift, Monday through Friday though nights and weekends may be required at rare times.Salary from $80,000 - $85,000 yearly, Experience Compensated!!!Essential Functions:Using the nursing process, assesses, plans, implements and evaluates competency based orientation and education programs for the department and Episcopal Homes wide.Onboard and train new nurses in the Skilled nursing buildings and Assisted LivingPerforms appropriate clinical activities to ensure basic clinical competenciesIdentifies department education/training needs annuallyInitiates, develops, implements and evaluates education offerings for mandatory and continuing educationContributes to the design and content of required or mandatory educationDelivers New Employee Orientation and Annual Training, monthlyDevelops and oversees in-services on new products, policies and proceduresEnsures required educational records are being maintained in partnership with department leadershipAll employees of nursing homes may be required to provide lifting and transfer Assistance to residents/patients. Lifting and/or transferring some residents/patients will require use of a lifting device and/or assistance of other staff.Minimum Qualifications:RN licensure in good standing2 years of nursing experience with 1 year of Long-term care or Assisted Living experienceExceptional communication, presentation/training, interpersonal relationship building and critical thinking skillsKnowledge of skilled nursing home regulationsEpiscopal Homes is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmation Action employer.
