The Nurse Manager position in the Ambulatory unit at AMCH Main Campus has responsibility over a very fast paced area.
The leadership position is in charge of the preoperative area as well as the Ambulatory (post op) unit.
We have a very busy OR and great engaged staff.
The position does require 5 years experience as a nurse.
The candidate must have a NYS license and a BSN.
We care for over 80 patients a day in a patient focused environment working very closely with Surgeons, Providers, Residents, Fellows, Nursing Students and Medical Students.
We are looking for an energetic, go-getter that is ready to hit the ground running.

Salary Range $89,731.20 - $148,054.40
• Provides proactive administrative and staff support in a patient centered environment.
• Promotes center strategies that provides excellence in patient care.
• Coordinates the flow of communication to maintain optimal unit/department operations.
• Advocates for patients, families, and staff.
• Supports lifelong learning , by using the organization's established empowerment process.
• Promotes fiscally responsible financial planning which is linked to Center goals.
• Acts as a mentor and consultant to staff by incorporating the organization's mission, vision,
• and values to enhance patient satisfaction by anticipating and exceeding patients' needs.
Qualification
Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications
• Must hold current New York State registration or possess a limited permit to practice in the State of New York. 5 Years of Nursing Experience required.
• Baccalaureate in Nursing required, Master of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to the team, manage resources and empower staff to provide excellent patient care. Previous experience managing teams with diverse skills and roles.
