Nurse Manager Emergency Services

Are you an Emergency Department Manager looking for a new and exciting career opportunity in Southern Nevada? A Las Vegas Area Medical Center is seeking a motivated Nurse Manager to run their busy Emergency Department.
The Emergency Services Nurse Manager will report to the Director of Emergency and manage a team of Nurse Supervisors and Charge Nurses. The Assistant Director of ED will oversee a 30 bed Emergency room with an annual census of over 40,000 patients.
The Nurse Manager ER will work hand in hand with the Nurse Educator to provide ongoing education and routinely conduct staff evaluations. The Nurse Manager of Emergency Services will ensure the highest quality of care to high acuity patients in need of immediate care.
The Emergency Nurse Manager will collaborate with the Infection Control Committee as well as the Quality Coordinator to ensure best practices and patient satisfaction. The Emergency Services Nurse Manager will be responsible for supervision of the department, treating any immediate medical or surgical emergencies and providing care for chronic medical problems, minor injuries, or illnesses.
The medical center sees patients of high acuity known for their stroke center, chest pain center, Cerner System, and as a Stemi Receiving center. The medical center's advanced surgical center offers the Da Vinci Surgical System, Single Incision laparoscopic surgery, Cyberknife, MAKOplasty, and performs over 10,000 annual procedures.
