Ensures appropriate scheduling and staffing of employees according to hospital and departmental standards. Monitors and evaluates daily productivity statistics in collaboration with the Director. Acts as a clinical resource for staff and physicians. Create or assists with the development and implementation of policies and procedures consistent with those of the organization and nursing standards. Follows patient and employee safety/security policies and protocols, including hand hygiene, use of universal precautions, use of personal protective equipment, and adherence to isolation procedures. Qualifications:EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree required. LICENSURE/ CERTIFICATIONS: Current registration with the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas as a Registered Nurse.
