Nurse Practitioner General Surgery

Overview:

Responsibilities:
UChicago Medicine AdventHealth has an excellent opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner to join their General Surgery department in Bolingbrook.
The ideal candidate would be able to work independently and collaboratively to support the physicians in the group.
Experienced Nurse Practitioners are preferred, but new graduates may be considered.

General Surgery experience, a plus!
Full-Time Monday Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Outpatient clinic hours with inpatient rounding at two hospital locations No call or weekends Spanish speaking, preferred

Qualifications:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Master's degree of Nursing required.
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED: BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Credentials are verified by local staff credentialing office.
Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Credentials are verified by local staff credentialing office LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION PREFERRED: Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration.
